At 98 years old, Harry Larson has been a devoted member of the Canyon Lake Association of Men (CLAMS) for more than a decade, including seven years of service as the club’s president.

Larson now holds the honorary title of president emeritus and continues to be an active presence within the CLAMS club.

Larson is among the volunteers who help organize the club’s signature events, such as Hawaiian Days and Country in the Park. He is also a familiar and friendly face in the CLAMS’ popular bratwurst booth during major Canyon Lake events.

Larson is a goodwill ambassador for the club, always eager to welcome others and actively encouraging new members to join.

Larson has also contributed his time to the Canyon Lake Property Owners Association, having served on the Finance Committee, Fiesta Day Committee, and Greens Committee.

In addition to his work with the CLAMS, Larson is a former member of the After Lunch Bunch golf group and the Men’s Golf Club, where he served on the board.

Canyon Lake residents now have a new place to sit and soak in the scenery, thanks to a generous donation from the Canyon Lake Association of Men (CLAMS).

The bench, which costs $4,790, is located lakeside at Holiday Harbor Park—an ideal spot for fishing enthusiasts and those simply wishing to enjoy the peaceful lake view.

The location was chosen with intention, as the club holds many of its events at the park, making it a place of special significance for the club.

“The CLAMS considers the bench a way of giving back to the community and supporting our POA,” President Mark Inkrote said. “We chose the location at Holiday Harbor Park for its awesome, uninterrupted view of our lake and because many of our activities take place there. We intentionally had the name etched on the back of the beach so those in the park would see who provided it.”

The new addition not only enhances the beauty and comfort of the park but also reflects the CLAMS’ ongoing commitment to the Canyon Lake community.
